How am I going to get a new job ?

Hi,
My name is mark and I've given myself until the end of the year to find a job in Ireland. I've just graduated from UCC (University College Cork) and I am rearing to go and just get a job. The problem is, I'm not sure what job I should do. Should put it all on the line and do something that maybe is a bit more riskier or should I take the safe bet and use my engineering degree to find something in that field.

I know I'm not going to be able to be an engineer for all my life, I think need more than that. So it's back to me looking at jobs in Ireland. I'm not looking forward to all the PFO's I'm probably going to get.
